Jen Cowart came out to Denver from Rhode Island for a conference this week. Chris went to college with her husband. We went to the Continental Divide where water on the western side drains into the Pacific and water from the eastern side drains into the Gulf of Mexico. Evan, of course, had to tag along.
Evan has discovered that if he sticks out his tongue and blows, it makes a unique noise and a big mess.

The weather here in Denver has been hot so Evan is cooling off in his pool. He really enjoys it, especially accidental dives under the water. He seems to take it all in stride.
Chris' half-brother, Link Shumaker, came to Golden for a visit. He had a conference at the Colorado School of Mines.
We are at the top of Mount Evans. It has the highest paved road in America at over 14,000 feet above sea level.
I'm a happy boy! Evan is hanging out in the kitchen,
waiting for Mommy to get his pears and peas ready.
