More Halloween Fun

Decorating my pumpkin!
Making cupcakes with mom - yum!

Aaargh - I'm a pirate!

Daddy dressed up like a pirate too.

Snow Fun and Boo at the Zoo

A few days before Halloween we got a couple feet of snow.

Snow Angel

Two days later it was nice enough to go to Boo at the Zoo. Seeing the sights from daddy's shoulders.

On the carousel with mommy.

We Miss You Grandma

Evan's grandma, Pat Ehlers, passed away on October 1, 2009 after a difficult battle with breast cancer. She was a wonderful person, mom, and grandma. We were so lucky to have her in our lives and we will miss her very much.

Grandma and Her Evan - she loved him so much. No matter what else was going on a visit from Evan always put a smile on her face.

Kristen's Birthday Party

Celebrating Kristen's birthday.

Grandma Pat, Evan and Kristen

Yet another picture of Evan in his highchair wearing his food.

How Sweet!

Grandpa Jim and Nana Camilla's Colorado Visit

Grandpa Jim, Nana Camilla, Evan and Daddy are riding the Georgetown Loop Railroad. It was a beautiful day in the Rocky Mountains.

Evan and Daddy are watching the train chug on over the bridge which goes over Clear Creak.

Hanging out after the train ride. Evan had a great time.

Grandpa Jim is sharing his ice cream cone with his Grandson.

Mommy and Evan in our backyard. Can you see Nana Camilla's reflection in the window?

Random Evan Pictures -- Summer 2009

Evan is enjoying his first lick of a birthday cupcake. We celebrated Grandma Pat's 70th birthday in the pavillion at Lake Arbor.

Evan is quietly observing a family of ducks.

Mickey Mouse ears were a necessity at Pat's Disney themed birthday party.

Evan is frolicking in the foliage in the our front yard. We were pleasantly suprised at all the flowering plants that bloomed throughout the summer.

Evan is all strapped in and ready for a bike ride. He rather have his own bike. Our search continues for the perfect bicycle.

March Snow Storm!

This was only the second time shoveling our driveway all winter! We received about 15 inches of snow. Evan had a good time helping daddy until he took off his mittens and dropped them in the snow.

Perfect weather for Ali. She loved lounging in the snow banks.

Daddy took Evan to his school where there is a nice sledding hill in the back. Evan had a great time going down by himself. Daddy got tired quickly because he had to carry Evan back up the hill each time.

January

Evan is curiously looking at Bear Creek. He also is happy that he got to climb on the railing.

Evan and Daddy are searching for the perfect skipping stone. When we find it, Evan lobs it two feet into Big Soda Lake. I think the splashing part is his favorite.

You may not recognize him, but mild-mannered Evan is a super hero! Ready to save damsels in distress, and empty all his toys in the basement in under 5 minutes!

Grandma and Evan are not sure where the camera is, but Alex the Monkey knows where it is.

Evan is holding up ten fingers which means he just turned two. Hard to believe he is such a big boy.
