Evan is now 4 weeks old. He made it to his big boy bathtub. It still took Mom and Dad about an hour to bathe him - we'll get the hang of it eventually.

Week 3
Evan is cuddling with his mother, after yet another traumatic bathing experience.
After three weeks, Evan is doing great. He now weighs in at a robust 9 pounds 7 ounces. He celebrated this special day by having the last bit of his umbilical cord fall off. Time to break out the onesies!Thursday, January 11, 2007
First Bath
Evan had his first bath the other day. He put up a good fight, but in the end, mom and dad prevailed. He seemed to enjoy the warm water on his back. After drying him thoroughly, his red hair stood straight on end and reminded us of the Christmas cartoon character, Heatmiser!
Week 2

One Week Old!
Evan is now exactly one week old in this picture. He lost some weight at the hospital, but it turns out he has Chris' appetite and gained it back in the last few days. He is now 8 lbs. 5 oz. Now, if he only let Mommy and Daddy sleep. Evan has an amazing set of lungs, and doesn't shy away from letting us know he's hungry, cold, or in need of a diaper change.

Welcome Evan Lawrence Raymond
We want to let everyone know Evan Lawrence Raymond was born on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 8:40 PM. He weighed in at 8 pounds 5 ounces and measured 20 inches long. This glorious event occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver, CO. Both baby and mother are doing well. Kristen will need some recovery time due to the C-section and a 40 hour labor. Daddy already has had on the job training with diaper changing due to some major blowouts. The Evan L. Raymond Diaper Fund will be set up shortly.
