Evan is now exactly one week old in this picture. He lost some weight at the hospital, but it turns out he has Chris' appetite and gained it back in the last few days. He is now 8 lbs. 5 oz. Now, if he only let Mommy and Daddy sleep. Evan has an amazing set of lungs, and doesn't shy away from letting us know he's hungry, cold, or in need of a diaper change.

He looks pretty healthy to me. Sometimes they don't regain their birth weight until they are two weeks old. For sure he will let you know when he wants some action. He will not be reticent. You do what you can.

Hi Chris and Kristen,
It fills me full of joy to think about your newborn, Evan. I am sure you all are totally exhausted by now.
I hope Kristen has some encouragement from the La Leche League. Their articles would arrive at our house just when I needed them the most.
Keep up all your good work. I am certain Evan is getting just what he needs from you all.
Love,
Camilla
Hi Chris and Kristen,
I just checked my e-mail and learned about the arrival of Evan. What a sweet boy! I can't wait to meet him and hear about all the joy and excitement he brings to your life.

That is so awesome, he looks great but what happened to "Julio Lawrence Raymond?" That name gives him a little spice. Congrats from the Fitzgibbons Family
